Nestled within the majestic Renaissance castle of Villers-Cotterêts, built in 1532 by François Ier, lies the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française. With its sprawling 1200m2, the exhibition halls are a feast for the senses, enriched by a dynamic cultural program. As you soak up more knowledge of the French language, take advantage of the beautiful greenery of the Retz Forest at the International City of the French Language.

La visite de la Cité était vraiment merveilleuse! Les installations, les vidéos, les possibilités d’exercices interactives, la beauté de l’ensemble des œuvres - tout nous a enrichi! J’ai aimé la visite aussi à cause de la présentation de la langue française d’une manière neutre en ce qui concerne l’histoire du français dans le monde francophone. J’aimais bien qu’on puisse réfléchir sans être influencé d’une façon ou d’une autre. Merci à tous ceux qui ont participé à la réalisation de cette « cité » inspirante et émouvante. Je reviendrai avec mes élèves et mes enfants.
