Visit the “Johann Strauss: New Dimensions ART & TECH Museum Experience” in Vienna. This multimedia exhibition covers 800 square meters and presents seven acts that highlight key phases of Strauss’ life.

Interact with audiovisual installations and various scenarios over approximately 75 minutes. You will receive modern, motion-sensitive headphones and a GPS audio guide to explore the exhibition. At designated stations, try composing, playing music, or dancing.

Learn about Johann Strauss’ life and work, and engage with the history of one of music’s earliest stars.

You can take the subway lines U1 or U4 to Karlsplatz station. From there, it’s about a 5 to 10-minute walk to Friedrichstraße. Another option is the U2 to Museumsquartier station, from where it’s also about a 10-minute walk to your destination. Alternatively, you can take tram lines 1, 62, or the Badner Bahn to the Karlsplatz/Oper stop. From there, it’s just a few minutes’ walk to Friedrichstraße. If you prefer the bus, the 59A line goes to the Bärenmühldurchgang stop, from which it’s a 3 to 5-minute walk.
