Riva degli Schiavoni
Riva Degli Schiavoni, along the waterfront at St. Mark's Basin in Venice is one of the world's most pleasant walks. It's a broad, wide cobblestoned pedestrian passageway with tourist stalls, tourists, and Old World ambiance. Sure it gets crowded but it's a sight in Venice that must be seen. The monument to Victor Emmanuel II is a popular meeting point for tour groups.
Check ticket availability
Make sure you enter the boat first so you van sit in the back. The normal bus boat has the same route, much cheaper but with no guide and probably better seats ;-)!
