When in Venice, don't miss the opportunity to visit the famous Biennale Di Venezia! The Biennale Di Venezia is one of the world's oldest and most prestigious art exhibitions, held in Venice since 1895.

This year, The Laboratory of the Future will guide you on a thrilling journey through the works of 89 participants, more than half of whom are from Africa or the African diaspora. Witness a huge array of contemporary art, film, and architecture, and attend a range of collateral events, including performances, talks, and workshops.

These events offer the chance to engage with artists and artworks in a more interactive and immersive way, so come on down and get involved.

The International Exhibition is divided between the Central Pavilion at the Giardini, the Arsenale, and Forte Marghera.

The Exhibition takes place in two different places (10 minutes walking distance from each other):

  • Giardini: Viale Trento 1260 and Sant’Elena (Viale IV novembre)
  • Arsenale: Campo della Tana 2169/F and Ponte dei Pensieri (Salizada Streta)
