A scenic 12-minute Sea Bus ride from Vancouver’s downtown Waterfront Station will bring you to Vancouver’s North Shore & the famous Lonsdale Quay Market & newly developed Shipyards Waterfront District.

North Vancouver’s Lower Lonsdale's Shipyard District hosts an emerging foodie scene that guarantees a whirlwind of flavors and a feast for the senses. So why wait? Secure a ticket to this must-experience gastronomic journey and immerse yourself in a world of culinary wonders!

On this walking food tour, you will learn about the historic ship building industry and early settlers to the area as you savour a delicious culinary experience. With many local vendors and restaurants, these are just some of the delicious food you will try: thin crust pizza, homemade soup, Lebanese Mezzo platter, authentic pasta, locally made handmade donuts with fried chicken, local BC craft beer and wine, all natural ice cream and delicious chocolate.

  • Meet your tour guide at 1:15 pm inside Waterfront Station, main hall by the Starbucks, 601 W Cordova St, Vancouver.
  • Note that this tour includes a short 12 min scenic ferry ride on the Sea Bus ferry (public transportation, 12 min each way, return ticket included in the tour) to Lonsdale Quay, North Vancouver. Tour guide escorts on ferry. You will receive Sea Bus ferry tickets from your guide at the meeting location. The ferry leaves at 1:30 pm so please be on time at least 15 min prior to departure.
  • Gratuity for your tour guide is always appreciated if you are pleased with the tour and the entertainment provided. Tips can be paid with cash or credit card at the end of the tour.
  • Tour operates rain or shine. Vancouver tends to get a lot of rain October-April. Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress appropriately for the weather on the day of your tour.
  • Cancellation is possible until 24 hours before your visit.
