Important information

Skyride operates every 15 minutes, last return trip is at 21:00.

Standing proudly among the North Shore Mountains, the 1,200 meter-tall Grouse Mountain is a year-round wonderland of fantastic outdoor activities. Enjoy hearty hikes with vast sweeping views, in the summer, explore a wildlife refuge home to two grizzly bears, and see some lively lumberjack action.

Step into the state-of-the-art Skyride and be whisked up the mountain in total comfort, savour the magnificent sweeping valleys, and settle into the perfect mix of laid-back relaxation and sheer exhilaration. You'd better get used to it!

The alpine area of Grouse Mountain is where the fun really begins. In summer, you'll be free to strike out on your own and explore the pine-lined mountaintop, join a guided eco-walk, or enjoy a host of organized activities.

During the summer Eco-Walks, your guide will take you on a memorable 45-minute hike through beautiful forests around the Blue Grouse Lake area, regaling you with all you need to know about the local wildlife and ecosystem. It's as close to being in a wildlife documentary as it gets!

Still thirsty for outdoor adventure? Check out the live Birds in Motion demonstration, or get absorbed in the Ranger Talks in the grizzly bear habitat. Monty Python fans will definitely not want to miss the incredible lumberjack show, and there's also disc golf or the option to simply enjoy a moment of serenity in the Pollinators' Garden. Beautiful views of Vancouver from the tram. The short movies they play are interesting and informative. And then of course, the bears !!!! Definitely worth it.
