Federico da Montefeltro turned a simple home into the grand Palazzo Ducale in 1459. The basement, kitchens, and other service areas of the house have many historic stories to tell.
The Palace's design shows impressive technology for that time. On the upper levels, there's a gallery with art and sculptures from the 14th to 18th centuries. You'll also see ceramics, coins, drawings, and furniture from different periods.
On the ground floor, there's the Archaeological Museum. Highlighted pieces include Italian Renaissance masterpieces like Flagellation and Madonna of Senigallia by Piero della Francesca, Ideal City by an unknown artist, and works by Titian and Raphael.
