This exhibition, curated by Andrea Bruciati, explores various representations of 'Ecce Homo' – depictions of the Passion of Christ. It invites visitors to engage in an intimate conversation between divinity and humanity, through art including 15th-century depictions of Christ, photographs by Mario Giacomelli, and work by emerging artist Anri Sala.
Après le déluge features approximately 40 ancient artifacts recovered by the Carabinieri Command for the Protection of Cultural Property, which were previously obtained through clandestine excavations on Italian soil.
This exhibition, set up in the Sala Mecenate, is based on an initiative launched in 2018 by the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities to share – especially with young people – the richness of Italian cultural heritage in an engaging way. This heritage is communicated in a compelling visual language through the stories created by leading cartoonists.

Villa d'Este was built for Cardinal Ippolito d'Este, a 16th-century cardinal and statesman. This lush fountain-filled garden is awe inspiring. It's all the more beautiful since the Cardinal scooped up some of Hadrian's Villa's finest stuff.
Hadrian's Villa (Villa Adriana in Italian) is a huge Roman archaeological complex that manages to thrill with its serenity and scale.
Best of all? This ticket takes all the planning out of your hands. Not only will you be picked up from Rome and deposited back there afterward, you'll also skip those lines to both places when you arrive.
