Keep the kids entertained with a day's worth of educational fun in Paris
Find out moreWhile you're on your way here, keep an eye out for the Big Rock. This is a 65m-tall artificial mini-mountain, which is an iconic symbol of the Parc Zoologique de Paris !
Catching a glimpse of it means you're nearing an encounter with wild animals – including giraffes, rhinos, ring-tailed lemurs, seals and young lions. These Parc Zoologique de Paris tickets put you right into the heart of an animal-centric adventure. Don't forget your camera.
Formerly known as the Bois de Vincennes Zoological Park, Parc Zoologique de Paris underwent 27 months of refurbishment work before reopening in 2014. All animal habitats were grouped into five biozones, so as you travel through the park, you'll be going from Europe to Madagascar, and Africa to Patagonia. There's also an Amazon zone or AmaZone if you want to save time on pronunciation.
In Africa, you can expect sightings of lions, giraffes, and zebras (in the same biozone, but unluckily for the lions, not in the same enclosure). Europe has wolves, lynxes, otters, the Amazon zone has jaguars, monkeys, and macaws, Patagonia has penguins, pumas, and pudus (and other animals whose names don't begin with 'p').
And these are just some of the zones and a few of the animals. There are also birds, lizards, snakes, tarantulas, frogs, fish, and mammals big and small. Let's just say that if you're an animal lover, you'll find plenty here to put a smile on your face.
Combine Paris Zoological Park (Parc Zoologique de Paris) with other Paris favorites. Some things are better together.
