The National Gallery is one of the most famous art museums in the world. It's located on Trafalgar Square in central London. The Gallery, founded in 1824, houses over 2,300 works, including Turner's The Fighting Temeraire, Vermeer's Lady Standing at a Virginal and Van Eyck's Arnolfini Portrait.
