We greatly enjoyed our visit to the Tampa Bay History Center. We opted to park in a nearby enclosed garage, as ground level parking was difficult to locate. The museum is GORGEOUS, clean, and easy to stroll through at your pace. Elevators readily available, as needed. Great videos, places to rest, so many excellent hands-on displays even for adults. Highly recommend.

The Tampa Bay History Center is a Smithsonian Affiliate museum in Florida. It has been located in Riverwalk since 2009. The museum explores the history, cultures, and traditions of Tampa Bay dating from its earliest inhabitants right up to modern day.
