At ZooTampa, there's more animal fun and just as many conservation efforts. Meet Sdudla, the head of a herd of elephants, who weighs in at around 10,000 lbs! See the Florida manatees and a family of orangutans in action, and learn about endangered species and how you can help protect them.
The Florida Aquarium gets you immersed in different zones, all designed to show you something new. From glimpsing rare seahorses and stroking stingrays to learning about our endangered oceanic friends, each exhibit is an educational dive into our oceans.
See alligators, otters, and pythons on the Wetlands Trail, and meet a 300-pound goliath grouper in Bays & Beaches. Over at Stingray Beach, learn about endangered green sea turtles and find out what a stingray feels like.

- You'll be assigned the first available timeslot. If the aquarium is at maximum capacity, you will be asked to wait before entering
- You can visit either of the two venues first. After your first visit, you have 7 days to visit the other venue

It was our first time going there and we really enjoyed going to the Florida Aquarium and the Tampa Zoo. We will definitely be back.

Excellent
I was able to visit both the Tampa Zoo and Tampa Aquarium the same day. Both were great places to explore. We spent about 3 hours at the zoo and 2 at the Aquarium. These places are very clean and friendly.
