Journey through 100 years of Estonian history at the Maarjamäe History Center, opened on the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia in Maarjamäe Palace. Explore exciting indoor and outdoor exhibitions, relaxation areas, and a children's playground.

In the award-winning My Free Country exhibition, journey from the birth of the Republic of Estonia to the country it is today. Wander eight rooms filled with artifacts, texts, and designs which all paint a vivid picture of their era.

Find out about the foundation of the Republic of Estonia, and see the military coat that once belonged to war hero Julius Kuperjanov, complete with its fatal bullet hole. Wander round the Soviet-era monuments and sculptures in the outdoor exhibition Memory, in the Maarjamäe Palace Park.

Learn some dances from the 1930s and discover which young politicians made some very bold moves. Then, walk along the red carpet and immerse yourself in the magic of movies in a room filled with illusions and filmmaking secrets.

Kids will love the Estonia-shaped playground, while adults will appreciate the beautiful old town and sea views of Tallinn bay - as well as the restaurant offering delicious Estonian cuisine located in the palace!
