Sydney's National Maritime Museum is offering you a sunset cruise on Sydney Harbour aboard one of the rarest ships in the world, a replica of the 17th-century Dutch ship, the Duyfken.

Step onto the gangplank and go back in time to 1606 when the first European ship reached Australia. You'll set sail from Darling Harbour as the sun approaches the horizon and sail past Barangaroo, Circular Quay, the Opera House, Garden Island and other famous sites on Sydney Harbour.

Aboard the ship, the crew will replicate the style of 17th-century sailing while you relax and enjoy a gourmet snack box and drinks while the sea breeze blows across your face.

The expert crew will also provide you with short commentaries about Duyfken's unique history at various points on the cruise. Hear stories of its merchant trade expeditions for the Dutch East India Trading Company, as well as gaining insights into the tall ship's sailing technology.
