Wander along quaint village streets and farmyards and see authentic craft workshops from local residents in traditional folk dress. Visit the remarkable Skansen Zoo and Skansen Aquarium, and add a bit of animal magic to the enchanting old-world mix.

Quite unlike anywhere else in the world, Skansen preserves a slice of Swedish history that modern times have long forgotten.

Totally worth it. Combi ticket is a great deal, definitely worth a look and be prepared to walk for a bit. The aquarium is quite cool. Beautiful cottage gardens and shows architecture from different parts of Sweden. Could probably benefit from having more informative signage detailing the cultural specifics of each region rather that tiny, brief signs. Still good though and I would highly recommend. Well impressed by the chickens and that one magnificent rooster in the barn near the farmers cottage.
