On Sunday mornings, from 9:30 – 14:00, only St. Mark’s Museum is open. The basilica is closed for religious services

The bell tower is open every day from 9:30 – 21:15 unless there is strong wind, fog, or cold. The last admission is at 20:45

In St. Mark’s Basilica, photography is prohibited. In the bell tower or on the terrace, you may take photos with your personal camera. Professional camera equipment and live streaming are not allowed

There is a modesty dress code. Make sure you cover your shoulders and knees

You can’t bring large suitcases or backpacks into the basilica. There are secure lockers where you can store your bags at the San Basso ticket office location

You may use a wheelchair within the basilica and can access the museum by using an elevator or stair lift to get to the upper floor. There is a ramp by Pora dei Fiori that you can use to access the treasury. The Bell Tower is accessible by elevator
