Description

Around 98% of the US brown bear population roams the Alaskan wilderness, making this the perfect place to spot one in the wild. Be a part of this expedition to Haines, nestled in the Alaskan mountains, and scout the Last Frontier's boundless wildlife and breathtaking vistas.

Begin your journey with a speedy catamaran cruise from Skagway to Haines, and a narrated drive around picturesque Fort Seward, before traversing Chilkoot Valley.

Thanks to its abundance of salmon, the Chilkoot River provides some of the best bear-viewing opportunities in Alaska. There's a high chance you'll snatch a glimpse of the region's powerful, salmon-loving predators.

Keep an eye to the skies for bald eagles flying overhead! It's truly a day to remember for nature lovers.
