Great. Signage could have been a little clearer. Castle is great - good footwear and fitness required as lots of uneven steps. It is worth the climb to the top - sense of achievement and also good view of Sintra , Pena Palace and surrounding countryside. Plenty of towers and ramparts.
Magnificent
The castle is absolutely stunning, we went late in the afternoon and there weren't a lot of people, so that made the experience even better.
It was one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen
