  • Tour Sighișoara and its citadel with a guide and witness one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe
  • Explore Roman towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and beautiful churches, and hear tales of Vlad the Impaler, who inspired Bram Stoker's Count Dracula
  • Climb the Scholars' Stairs, a protected walkway up a hill to the aptly named Church on the Hill, the third-biggest church in Transylvania

Sighișoara (pronounced see ghee swahr' ah) might be difficult to say, but exploring it is easy with this smartphone ticket! Explore one of the most beautiful and best-preserved medieval towns in Europe and sink your teeth into vampiric legends of Vlad the Impaler – he was born here! Walk cobbled streets, step into ornate churches and climb a medieval staircase.

Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, Sighișoara is a strangely intact medieval city that might remind you of Old Prague or Vienna. The towers, cobbled streets, burgher houses and ornate churches give an atmosphere of mystery and magic, which is probably helped by the fact that Vlad the Impaler, ruler of the province of Walachia from 1456 to 1462, was born here!

Vlad went on to inspire Bram Stoker's fictional fanged freak, Count Dracula. You'll be hearing a lot about him as you traverse the pretty Romanian streets with your guide.

Sighișoara was built atop a tall hill and was once surrounded by an extremely long wall with 14 towers! Nine are still standing, and you'll get to visit some, with a focus on the Clock Tower and its museum.

Close by, the Vlad Dracula House in the Citadel Square might have you craving some garlic.

Explore the narrow streets, snap the beautifully painted houses, and marvel at the medieval detail on The Scholars' Stairs which connect the Citadel Square with the Church on the Hill. These covered stairs were built in the 15th century to protect kids and churchgoers from the elements in cold winter months. But will they protect you from Dracula?
