The ASTRA Museum of Folkloric Traditional Civilization has one of the most idyllic settings you can imagine: nestled 4 kilometers away from the city, directly in the Dumbrava Sibiului Natural Park.

Surrounded by over ten kilometers of walking trails and featuring a picturesque lake, this 96-hectare open-air museum is the largest of its kind in Romania. Every year, at least four to five new monuments are added, making this ever-expanding exhibition worth revisiting!

Your ticket also includes a guided tour (available in English and German) of Sibiu, during which you'll learn about its rich history and distinct local culture. Starting from the Big Square (Piata Mare) and continuing along the old streets of the city, you'll see all of Sibiu's top landmarks and attractions.
