Although the guid spoke perfect English I think he was more interested in advertising tickets to Semper opera that telling us about performances. The biggest disappointment was the metal curtain supposedly against possible fire. Seeing many Opera’s stage I was very disappointed.

The Semperoper is an opera house located in Dresden, Germany. Originally opened in 1841, the building has been reconstructed on two occasions: once due to a fire in 1869, and once as a result of the bombing of Dresden during World War II.
