This moving and memorable day tour explores stories of bravery and heroism at the most important sites of the D-Day landings: Utah Beach, the American Cemetery, Pointe du Hoc, and Omaha Beach (which you'll see from the cemetery).

Travel from Paris to Normandy, visit the Utah Beach Landing Museum, and walk the infamous beach stormed by Allied forces. Then, visit a cider farm for a delicious lunch, and enjoy the local culture that was saved from destruction.

  • Show your smartphone ticket to the guide at the meeting point, in front of the main entrance of the Architecture Museum at the Palais de Chaillot. The tour will end at Trocadero.
  • From March 15th, 2024 the new meeting point will be located in front off the main entrance of the Hyatt Regency Paris Etoile Hotel (3 Pl. du Général Kœnig, 75017 Paris). The tour will end at the Port Malliot.
  • Your guide will be holding a sign with the City Wonders logo on it

Good Morning The guide was nice but the tour is poor with no explanations at the sites with a very short time at any point you can reduce time in the cemetery and add in the museum

Conmovedor. Lo recomiendo plenamente para quienes se interesan en la historia de la segunda guerra mundial y del dia D en particular. Si bien el tiempo disponible en la excursion para cada parada...
Conmovedor. Lo recomiendo plenamente para quienes se interesan en la historia de la segunda guerra mundial y del dia D en particular. Si bien el tiempo disponible en la excursion para cada parada es escaso, brinda la posibilidad de al menos poder visitar y tener una pantallazo del sitio donde se desarrolló semejante hecho histórico. Me hubiese gustado disponer de varios dias para recorrer mas sitios y museos referidos al evento pero, dado que solo disponía de un día, esta excursión desde Paris (Est. Trocadero) fue perfecta. Para quienes la hagan acompañados de quien no tenga gran interés en el tema histórico, encontrará seguramente atractiva la visita a la sidrería típica de la región. En resumen: muy recomendable! Idioma ingles requerido.
