It isn't fully clear on the print outs but explaiined on the bus when you board for the first time that you can get off at stop 3, go to the Forum ticket office and get your entry time to the Colosseum. Then you can go visit other places etc and return later. The fast entry is excellent, we waited for 1min at the forum and maybe 10 minutes ay the Colosseum. So definitely worth pre booking. Tour itself was an excellent way to get your bearings and plan what you want to spend some time at. Commentary clear, posh English voice ! Lots of good food outlets 5 min walk from Colosseum, good choice. Staf encountered all very helpful but go to offical people. Lots of individual traders who were not shy of approaching you. Bit anmoying but to be fair the ones selling bottled water for a euro were useful. All in all good value for money. The bus did get a bit crowded but they were frequent, the most we waited was 10 minutes.
