You'll also have the chance to visit the cloister and the Treasury Museum inside too, before you walk the 28 marble steps of the Scala Santa (Holy Staircase) towards the papal chapel of the Sancta Sanctorum.

Your ticket also includes entry to the Catacombs of San Callisto, the underground cemetery built by early Christian communities at the end of the second century AD. Join a local guide and learn how they were built underground with galleries on various levels to solve the problem of space.
