Start your experience at the Touristation office, where you'll pick up your tickets to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill and enjoy a 25-minute multimedia video about ancient Rome.

Your multimedia guide will help your imagination reconstruct the grand space of the Roman Forum where regular Romans used to live and work. See the tomb of emperor Julius Caesar, the toppled columns of this ancient civic area, and explore the ruins at your own pace.

Located next to the Roman Forum is Palatine Hill, the legendary foundation site of Rome. It's the site where the houses of emperors and kings once stood, and is the centermost hill of Rome where you'll get the best views of the ancient world.

Your tickets include access to the following sites:

  • Palatine Museums
  • House of Augustus
  • Domus Tiberiana (exhibition rooms) (including Neronian cryptoporticus)
  • Aula Isiaca/Loggia Mattei
  • Santa Maria Antiqua (Oratory of the Forty Martyrs and Ramp of Domitian)
  • Curia Julia
  • This voucher is not the entrance ticket
  • In case of incorrect personal data, access to the Colosseum will not be possible
  • Show your smartphone ticket at the Touristation office
  • A small fountain is in front of the office. There are signs and orange flags outside
  • The multimedia video viewing takes place before your visit to the Archaeological Area

Excellent
One of must do in Rome. The line for the tickets was so long so we bought this last minutes and we were so lucky to be shown a quiet entering gate that does not have a queue. Amazing history!

The Forum/Palatine Hill were great. The instructions on where to enter were very confusing and it was hard to find. Might be a good idea to have someone escort each group to entry point....
