The Colosseum

Palatine Hill and Roman Forum

The Roman Forum was the social, political, religious and financial center of the Roman Empire. It remains the most incredible site of Ancient Roman civilization with various structures still standing. All layers of Roman society rubbed shoulders together daily here, whether for personal, business or political purposes. Add your name to the lucky group of people allowed to enter today.

  • Valid ID is mandatory, in case of incorrect personal data, access to the Colosseum will not be possible
  • Show your smartphone voucher at the meeting point in Via della Polveriera 8, about 100 meters from the Colosseum at the Crown Tours office.
  • Make your way to the terrace above the Colosseum Metro Station. You'll find a pedestrian bridge to cross above the road. The office is located on the other side about 50 meters up the street. Look for the purple flag that says Crown Tours. If you are in front of the metro station, please make your way upstairs. It is required to arrive early at the meeting point to check in. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed entrance.

When opting for the guided tour, you are acknowledging and consenting to the fact that the ticket cost for admission to the archaeological sites is 18 € for adults, along with a 2 € booking fee, and free entry for children under 18. The remaining amount covers professional licensed guide services, headsets, booking fees, and other tour amenities. The tour operator strive to provide transparency and ensure your understanding of the cost breakdown, enabling you to fully appreciate the value of the guided tour.
