You will be the protagonists of daily life there, and relive the splendor of its houses and its most important buildings in 3D, before the fury of the volcano erases the magnificence of one of the richest and most vital cities in the Roman Empire.

How to get there

  • From Naples by car: take highway 45 towards Tirrenia/SR18 and proceed to the Pompeii Overst exit. Continue on the SS18 towards Tirrenia Inferiore and follow the signs to Piazza Esedra. The meeting point will be on your right.
  • By train: Get off at the Pompeii Scavi Villa Dei Misteri stop. With the station behind you, go right and go straight for 350 meters. You will see the meeting point.

Excellent
Mario did an amazing job with the tour! I learned a lot of history before going into the ruins and I highly recommend stopping here first before checking the ruins out!

Interesting enough, the technology isn’t there yet. I don’t remember the name of our guide but he shared interesting information and the models of how the old buildings used to look like were great.
