Getting there:
- By foot: About 45 minutes walking from the center of Sintra
- Bus: Scotturb Line 434 (Pena circuit) from Sintra Train Station
- Train from Lisbon (Estação do Oriente, Estação do Rossio, or Estação de Entrecampos)
- Please note that the venue is not reachable by car
Transfer services:
- There is a paid transfer service available bringing guests from the park entrance to the palace. The service runs every 15 minutes and is wheelchair accessible
- There's a free hop-on hop-off transfer service available between the Palace and the Chalet of the Countess of Edla. Simply show your entrance ticket and hop on!
Castle of the Moors: Skip The Line
- No animals are allowed in, apart from guide dogs
- Flash photography and tripods aren't allowed inside the palace

Excellent
Both sites are wonderful. We had a rainy day experience but it was still worth seeing. It’s helpful to get Hop on Hop Off tickets but only get the all day pass if you think you’ll go to more than...
Both sites are wonderful. We had a rainy day experience but it was still worth seeing. It’s helpful to get Hop on Hop Off tickets but only get the all day pass if you think you’ll go to more than the two places. Everything is not close together so it would hard to do more than the moorish grounds and the Pena. Next time would pay per ride.

We didn't do skip-the-line but we arrived there early enough (about 1345) that it didn't matter. We picked the 1430 slit and it was much less crowded than when we exited at 1600 - huge line. I...
We didn't do skip-the-line but we arrived there early enough (about 1345) that it didn't matter. We picked the 1430 slit and it was much less crowded than when we exited at 1600 - huge line. I would recommend skip-the-line during peak hours
