Good
The Palazzo Pitti was great. The line to get in was reasonable. The one thing that wasn’t clear was that I had to exchange my electronic ticket for a physical ticket.

It is easy as possible. QR code from online ticket received. Went to gate 3 at the Offices as described and get the paper ticket. From there we got in quickly. Keep ticket for Boboli and Palazzo Pitti.

About: Palazzo Pitti

Pitti Palace was built for Renaissance banker Luca Pitti. A loyal consigliere to Cosimo de Medici, Pitti wanted a mansion built to rival those of the mighty Medici.

He did pretty well – about 100 years after its construction the Medici acquired it and moved in. With a grand courtyard, Royal Apartments, the Palatine Gallery and a high Baroque interior design, this is a worthy Renaissance palace.
