If you would like to know more about the construction of the Pont du Gard then the museum is a good visit but not a must.

Palais is a nice tour. Easy to get to.
For the Pont du Gard, this ticket is not needed. Access to the bridge is free. And also, there is a separate 9euro fee for the car park.
