How to get there:

By car: Traveling on the A1/E35 motorway (Autostrada del Sole), exit at the Orvieto toll booth. It's recommended to park your car in the covered parking lot at Campo della Fiera. After exiting the toll booth, follow signs for Viterbo (direction: Porta Romana / Via Garibaldi). Use the alternative transportation to reach the city center (escalators or elevators). From the upper exit of the elevators, following Via Garibaldi, Corso Cavour, and Via del Duomo, you'll reach Piazza del Duomo in about 800 meters.

By public transport: Orvieto is located on the Rome/Milan railway line, making it accessible by train. Check the Trenitalia website for schedules. The train station is located at Orvieto Scalo, beneath the historic cliff. The city center is easily reached by funicular, located in the square in front of the station, or by local bus service. The Cathedral Square, is also easily accessible on foot with a 15-minute stroll through the historic center.
