How does it feel to be human today? In a rapidly changing world - do you feel seen? What moves you?

These are the central questions addressed in the first solo exhibition of Nxt Museum, presenting the work of the groundbreaking arts group Random International.

Expect to encounter a range of large-scale digital works from 3D printed sculptures, to wall-to-floor projection, all highlighting how technology shapes us, and we shape it back.

In-house artist, researcher and curator, Bogomir Doringer recognised Random International’s interplay between technology, art and the audience and the social commentary on what it means to be human in the time of technology. Since their beginnings in 2006 the experimental art group has been pushing the boundaries of what art can be through immersive multi-disciplinary research projects.

This exhibition, Life in a Different Resolution unfolds across six mesmerising installations: imagine visualised swarm algorithms, NFTs generated from visitor interaction, and their latest work, ‘Living Room’ which uses beams of shifting light to trace visitor movements.
