Almost 100 years ago, world-traveler and renowned eccentric Robert Ripley began bringing the world’s mysteries, weird phenomena and near-incredible facts to the masses. His legacy endures here, where you and your family can take a break from the mundane realities of life by stepping into Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! in Times Square.

Home to rare artifacts and thrilling interactive exhibits, this one-of-a-kind NYC attraction is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in exhibits ranging from the unusual to the unbelievable. Many of which were collected almost 100 years ago by Ripley himself. His taste for the bizarre caught on quickly; this Times Square fixture has been entertaining people since 1939.

Ripley's exhibits include the Mexican Vampire Woman, albino giraffes, shrunken heads, and a vampire killing kit from the 19th century. And with over 500 rare artifacts and 20 themed galleries, a visit here will keep young and old saying "Wow!" over and over again for hours!

As an added bonus your Ripley’s admission includes entrance to Ripley’s own Impossible Laser Race! Where you can maneuver through the web of lasers as you race against the clock!

Insider tip

In 1929 Ripley surprised America by correctly pointing out it lacked a national anthem. Congress quickly got its act together and passed a law officially adopting The Star-Spangled Banner as the official anthem.

I used to watch Ripley's tv show, growing up, so I definitely had a fun time reading factoids and a few weird and interesting things, including a few interactive mediums the place had available.
