Terrible
We never got there. It rained ( not in the forecast) and we bailed. The whole Sintra was awful. Think twice about going

Excellent
The palace is beautiful but the visit is very crowded in the summer. Timer tickets make sense but it seemed like the people who paid extra for priority entry make it even more crowded. We did...
The palace is beautiful but the visit is very crowded in the summer. Timer tickets make sense but it seemed like the people who paid extra for priority entry make it even more crowded. We did not use the “optional transfer” as it was not really clear how it worked until the end. The site really needs more information to allow picking the right packages.

Excellent
I highly recommend visiting Pena Palace and Moores Castle! They are a must see in person. Get there early and take into consideration the walk up and down the hill prior to getting g to each place.
