After, enjoy lunch at a restaurant with views of Naples' bay, the Amalfi Coast, and the nearby islands. Try a traditional pizza, an appetizer, and a dessert to keep your energy up for the rest of the day.

Depending on the season, you can hike to the crater of active volcano Mt. Vesuvius, or take a walk nearby with geologist to lead the way. If it's winter (early November to March), you'll explore Positano on the Amalfi Coast instead.

  • It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 20 minutes before departure. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded
  • We recommend wearing comfortable shoes for walking around Pompeii
  • Bring your snacks, or cash to buy lunch at one of the pizzerias situated next to the archaeological zone
  • In case of rainy weather the group will visit the (indoor) National Archaeological Museum of Naples instead of Vesuvius
  • Spring/Summer (March-late November): Optional hike up Mount Vesuvius
  • From early November to March the Vesuvius isn't accessible and it is replaced with a visit to the city of Positano and free time with panoramic bus tour of the Amalfi Coast
  • Cancellation is possible until 24 hours before your visit.
  • Rescheduling is possible until 24 hours before your visit.

We had the best day with Laura and Antonio the best bus driver in Italy, Laura was a fantastic tour guide and I would highly recommend a day trip away especially to mount vesuvius, the views of Naples were beautiful. Antonio our guide at Pompeii was very informative and funny again would high recommend. Lunch was delicious the pizza was amazing.
