Welcome to a one-of-a-kind experience that will transport you into the fascinating world of marine life. Turtle Point center boasts over 600 square meters of indoor space and 7,000 square meters of outdoor space, equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories for environmental and biological analyses.

It also boasts an outpatient clinic with surgical and radiological rooms, an extensive educational exhibition, a multimedia room, and spaces dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of marine turtles injured by human activity that impact coastal and marine environments.

What's more, the rehabilitation spaces for turtles are open to the public, and the knowledgeable staff accompanying visitors during the visit will share the stories of all the hospitalized turtles, their clinical condition, and their quirks.

They will delve deeper into the themes covered in the extensive multimedia room, complete with digital screens packed with content. Full-sized models of large marine vertebrates and explanatory panels on the European Marine Strategy Framework Directive complement the visitor experience.

  • Large buses cannot reach the center, so drivers must park in the Slargo Carrone parking area on Via Emanuele Gianturco 48 (Portici). Visitors will continue for a short walk to Piazza San Pasquale heading to the port area and, passing the Aeneas Institute, will find the Turtle Point on the right.

Se avessero spiegato dolo la descrizione generale perché le tartarughe nel Vasche fossero li, sarebbe stato più interessante. Invece ci hanno lasciato girare tra le vasche senza comprendere le varie tipologie di ricovero delle stesse. Per i bambini in particolare la spiegazione sarebbe dovuta essere fatta più a loro misura. Si avverte però una grande passione e attenzione per questi animali.
