Meeting point

Piazza Bovio 9, Napoli, 80133, Naples

  • Behold the breathtaking views from Mount Vesuvio's peak
  • Visit "Creator Vesevo", an open-air museum at the summit of the volcano
  • Peer into the crater as you make your way around the mouth of Vesuvius

Perched majestically above the Gulf of Naples, Mount Vesuvius, one of the few active volcanoes in Europe, dominates the skyline.

At its foothills sprawls the namesake National Park, a protected haven preserving the rich biodiversity of both flora and fauna.

From this vantage point, you can see Naples and Pompeii from below – and on a clear day, all the way down the Amalfi Coast!

The bus drive was good, but I was not able to get in because the tickets I got send in my mail were not valid. It was a real struggle to manage to find out what the problen was because there was no service at that location. The organisation sent me the valid tickets too late so I didn´t see them. Luckily I got in eventually. The audiotour didn´t work. I think because I needed internet for this and there wasn´t service. I paid for nothing.

L'audio guide n'a jamais fonctionné.
