  • Check-in is at 10:30, boarding begins at 10:50. The train departs at 11:30 and returns at 14:30

If you've booked transportation from San Francisco:

  • Monday-Friday: The ferry will leave at 08:15 from the Ferry Building in San Francisco and will drop you off in Vallejo, where the Wine Train Shuttle will take you to the train. Return is at 16:15, arrival in San Francisco is at 19:00
  • Saturday, Sunday, holidays: The Wine Train Shuttle will leave at 08:15 from the Ferry Building in San Francisco, taking you across the Golden Gate Bridge to the train. Return is at 16:15 by bus + ferry

Bringing children:

  • Babies under 12 months are free, no ticket or prior notification of attendance required, but they obviously don't receive any food
  • Strollers and carriers are not permitted. Booster seats are available
  • Please consider if your child will be able to relax on the train for two hours
  • Due to the general movement of the train or the rare potential for a sudden stop, children cannot walk about the cars unattended
  • Children's menus are not available, but many menu items can be adapted to suit a child's tastes
  • Diaper changing is not permitted on the train due to food service and the bathrooms being small. McKinstry Street Station has a diaper changing station in the restroom
  • Changes may be possible for this ticket
