Parque Arví is an oasis in the hills, a lush escape from the busy streets of central Medellín 30 km to the south-west. Dedicated to public use and ecotourism, this beloved and protected space highlights Colombia's environmental, cultural, and archaeological wealth.

Sounds good, right? On this Parque Arví tour you can explore the sprawling park on foot, with an English and Spanish-speaking guide leading the way. Learn about rare wildflowers, an abundance of native fauna, and pre-Hispanic history, as you explore one of Colombia's richest outdoor spaces.

The Arví Park is an open public park of 1,761 hectares of forest belonging to the Nare river reserve, where native and plantation forests converge. It encompasses the territories of municipalities such as Bello, Copacabana, Guarne and Medellín.

You can get there with the Arví Metrocable, with a 20-minute journey from the Santo Domingo station of the Medellín Metro, or by land with bus routes that you can take from the city center.

Guided walking tours depart every 30 minutes from 9:30 to 16:30 at the Interpretation Center of El Tambo, located at the Arví Tourist Cable Arrival
The duration of each tour varies according to the level and distance of each path (ranging between 1 and 4 hours)
