Wandering the Sassi di Matera, whose hillside dwellings were dug out from the rock itself, you could mistake it for the sites around Jerusalem – in fact, it was used for filming in The Passion of the Christ.

Pessima per vari motivi. Indirizzo dell'agenzia sbagliato che ci ha fatto fare un km in più per raggiungerla. App audio non funzionante all'esterno, fuori del wifi dell'agenzia. Un Pass inutile,...
Pessima per vari motivi. Indirizzo dell'agenzia sbagliato che ci ha fatto fare un km in più per raggiungerla. App audio non funzionante all'esterno, fuori del wifi dell'agenzia. Un Pass inutile, con 6 cose da vedere di cui 2 non trovate perchè mal segnalate, una ad ingresso libero, una non visitabile in quel momento perchè sede di un teatro dove si preparava un incontro pubblico; le altre due praticamente sovrapponibili con cose poco interessanti per quanto possa essere bello immaginare dove si viveva tantissimi anni fa. Non tutta colpa dell'agenzia: scarse segnalazioni dappertutto e spesso sbagliate (perfino Google Maps non ci capisce niente!). Solo una miriade di locali di tutti i tipi, che hanno annullato i poveri ruderi preistorici, con tanta pubblicità solo per loro.
