  • Brush up on your technological history with a visit to the Museu de la Tècnica de Manresa, and explore two amazing exhibitions inside a monumental water depot
  • Get immersed in the significance of water and irrigation, with an exhibition that flows from the 14th-century Séquia de Manresa canal to the 19th-century water depot you're standing in
  • Then, buckle up and get ready for a fasten-ating exhibition on belts! This exhibition shows how belts and sashes have evolved over the years, how they were made, and their cultural impact

The Museu de la Tècnica de Manresa will get medieval on your mind, taking you back to the 1300s before blasting you back to the future with two permanent exhibitions dedicated to the technological and cultural history of Manresa.

The first exhibition is all about water. More specifically, how irrigation from the medieval Séquia de Manresa canal, and the 19th-century water depot – which the museum itself is housed inside – changed the local landscape in a big way, physically and culturally.

The second exhibition is a real belter; its main focus is belts. More specifically, it traces the technological, cultural, and aesthetic evolution of belts and other textiles over the centuries.
