After boarding your boat in the city centre, you'll see sights like the grade II listed Stephenson's Bridge, the modern architecture of Media City, and the latest addition to the river, The Factory. If you like the Red Devils, then you're in luck – you'll get to see the home of Manchester United, Old Trafford, from the river too.

You'll cruise aboard a purpose-built Dutch sightseeing boat, The Princess Katherine, with inside and outside seating, toilets, and a fully stocked bar to ensure a comfortable trip.

Lovely relaxed tour. Lovely staff. We made good use of the on board bar, which had a surprisingly good selection of drinks and snacks, and also reasonably priced. Good informative tour guide for kids and adults. Would definitely recommend. 5 stars.

The river cruise was great, we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was well narrated with some very interesting information about the history of Manchester and the landmarks along the route. It was a little hard to find where to board, especially as there is so much building work going on and Google maps say that Ralli Quay is permanently closed, that is not helpful, especially if you don’t know the city.
