Museo Nacional Thyssen-Bornemisza

Started in the 1920s as a private collection, the museum now comprises part of Madrid’s renowned 'Golden Triangle of Art' and is famed for the breadth of its works. You’ll find works here by Van Gogh, Goya, Holbein The Younger, Titian, Kandinsky, and Jackson Pollock and many more.

Many masters are represented by a single painting and the focus is not on a single artist but the overarching evolution of art. The museum offers you a chance to sample a very large collection of heavyweights under a single roof.

Paseo del Arte Card: Skip The Line
There is ways some kind of line at the Prado, but it is much shorter with this. Be sure to ask where the Skip the Line entrance is so you don't stand unaware in the regular one.

Paseo del Arte Card: Skip The Line
Buying tickets in advance is definitely the best way to go if you know which specific date you will be visiting - we were able to show our already printed ticket and get right into the museums, ahead if the long line of tour groups. Very satisfied, the website is very easy to use and you save money if you want to see all three, the Prado, Thyssen- Bornemizsa, and Reina Sofia.
