ZSL London Zoo
Founded in 1828, ZSL London Zoo is the world’s oldest scientific zoo and is today involved in progressive conservation programs to protect African elephants, black rhinos and many other species. At the zoo you’ll find a whole plethora of animals – over 750 species – and one very special family of silverback gorillas, led by Kumbuka and his mate Mjukuu.

Although I do not like to see animals caged, I think you guys do an amazing job in looking after them.
Unfortunately we didn’t get to see tigers and only saw a gorilla throug a glass window.
But we totally understand that they are not there to perform, and are free to wonder( so to speak)
Prices are high in restaurants and kiosks so would recommend a packed lunch, but we realise that the money goes towards the upkeep of the animals, which is worth paying the extra for.
