- The one time in your life you want bad service
- Uproariously hilarious comedy and excellent food
- Choose between lunch and dinner show
If you want a quiet meal in London, put the TV on mute and order in room service. If you want two hours (and three courses) of hilarious, surprising and fully immersive comedy then Faulty Towers The Dining Experience in London's West End is just the thing.
At the 4-star Amba Hotel Charing Cross, in a specially devised theater, this uniquely engaging show pays homage to John Cleese's highly influential sitcom Fawlty Towers. From the moment you arrive, you'll be in the world of Fawlty Towers; Basil, Sybil and Manuel will show you to your seat, and then the chaos begins.
With Basil, Sybil and Manuel as your wait staff, expect anything but 'good' service. In fact, you may laugh yourself hoarse as you try to eat your meal. In true Fawlty Towers form, everything that can go wrong, will go wrong - hilariously so.
During the two-hour experience, dine on a 1970s-inspired three-course meal consisting of dishes such as spiced carrot and fennel soup, and chicken with tarragon mash and vegetables. Before and during the meal, enjoy as Basil, Sybil and Manuel wander between tables, mingling with diners and loosely recreating some classic - not to mention hysterical - scenes from the TV show.
With only a third of the show scripted, no two dining experiences are ever the same. Thank goodness!
Your ticket includes a 3-course 1970's style meal and 2-hour comedy performance. The venue is licensed, and beverages will be available to purchase at an extra cost.
