Very good exhibition on Japanese items in the Royal Collection, with some fantastic pieces on display. The detail of the decoration on them was breathtaking, although it would have been nice if some of the items had been on a turning dais so you could fully appreciate the beautiful painting skills.

Reasonably priced, quite accessible, worthwhile exhibition (an insight into relations between royal families over many generations). Bonus of an on-site talk in mid visit, but theme actually didn't interest me, so I used the time to explore some of the rooms of the exhibition with fewer people in them at that time!
