Enjoy a royally British day out at the world's largest maritime museum, and take your imagination on a voyage of discovery across an ocean of incredible exhibits documenting Britain's maritime heroes. This ticket grants you access to the National Maritime Museum, plus entry to one of its many incredible temporary exhibitions, ranging from retro photography to space travel, and everything in between. Plus, you'll also get access to Queen's House, where an extensive royal art collection awaits.

Spanning 2,000 years of maritime history, the captivating exhibits in the National Maritime Museum tell the entire tale of Britain's seafaring escapades around the world, and much more.

See how trade routes, war, conquest, slavery, and exploration helped to forge the world we live in today, and ponder for a moment what the world might look like if it weren't for the sailors who braved the furious ocean storms, disease, and attack to explore every corner of the Earth.

After charting a course back through the oceanographic history of Britain, your ticket gives you access to one of the museum's temporary exhibitions. There is always something special happening, so take a look at the exhibitions section above for a taste of what's currently on.

Round off your experience with a visit to Queen's House. No, it's not the place where Bohemian Rhapsody was composed, this 17th-century royal residence was built for Anne of Denmark and contains a rather opulent interior design befitting a British Queen, and it's also got an art collection that would make most dedicated art museums envious.

Insider tip

Queen's House has a rather interesting backstory. This 17th-century royal residence was commissioned by King James I as an apology present to his wife Anne of Denmark, for reportedly swearing at her (a scandal back in the day) after she shot his best hunting dog - accidentally! One wonders how many of his dogs she accidentally shot after that!
