Meeting point

  • Meeting point is located at Westminster Abbey. Look for the tall marble and stone column opposite the west entrance of Westminster Abbey
  • At the top is a figure of St George slaying a dragon. Your guide will be waiting at this column.
  • Please check in at least 15 minutes before the tour departs, as latecomers won't be waited for
  • Arriving by tube: Take the tube to Westminster, exit, cross the road onto Bridge St and pass through Parliament Square. Walk along the Broad Sanctuary and you will see the column in front of you. You can also arrive via St James's Park, exiting and walking straight down Tothill Street.

You do NOT see the changing of the guard. We rushed through the Abby. Guide was knowledgeable and wonderful. Simply not enough time and very rushed. We then rushed to the palace. Several people...
You do NOT see the changing of the guard. We rushed through the Abby. Guide was knowledgeable and wonderful. Simply not enough time and very rushed. We then rushed to the palace. Several people were left behind and not happy. Of you can’t walk far and fast, not for you. We then saw the horses march by. If you looked very hard you could almost see the guards changing at the palace. My zoom lens could not get it.
