This heavenly comedy follows the tale of Deloris Van Cartier, a lively lounge singer who unexpectedly finds herself in an unusual refuge – a convent. All thanks to a witness protection scheme, Deloris finds herself amidst the saintly sisters of Saint Katherine's Convent.

But don't be mistaken, this isn't your typical story of hymns and habits. Deloris infuses the convent with her fiery spirit, encouraging the sisterhood to belt out tunes with newfound gusto.

1992's Sister Act movie, featuring the unforgettable Whoopi Goldberg, became one of the most successful comedies of the early '90s. Zoom ahead to 2009: Alan Menken, an eight-time Oscar and Tony winner, transformed the tale into a foot-stomping musical.

Prepare to sway to gospel-inspired hits such as “Take Me To Heaven”, “How I Got the Calling”, “Raise Your Voice” and “Spread the Love Around.”.

Ruth Jones, a noted star and the co-creator of Gavin and Stacey, is joining the nunhood as Mother Superior. Reappearing in their roles are TV and theatre personality Lesley Joseph, Olivier Award-winner Clive Rowe, and popular West End performer Lizzie Bea.

Also joining the cast is BRIT Award-winning singer-songwriter, Lemar, Allison Jiear from Britain's Got Talent, and Carl Mullaney from +La Cage aux Folles_.
