The castle's 36-meter-high keep has kept the charming town of Loches safe for more than 1,000 years. And within these weather-worn walls, the town's remarkable history has been safeguarded too.

Sur un site magnifique, les hauts bâtiments de la cité nous font voir très concrètement la vie dans deux périodes différentes mais également intéressantes. Les points de vue depuis le donjon sont vertigineux; les pièces chargées d'histoire du logis royal valent le détour.

Beau château et jardins mais les marches sont un peu pénibles quand on a mal aux genoux....sinon la ville est superbe
